Had a wonderful
Wonderful evening last night.
My baby had a little gig, together with
her extremely talented partner,
who puts music to her lyrics
as well as writing songs
of his own too.....
Their gig was their first,
together anyway, and
as far as I was concerned,
her first proper gig
since she was one of the main
'players' and not
like, a supporting cast.
All my concerns about her
not remembering the words
or trying too hard
and ended up screeching
or over reaching....
well... hmmph
"oh me of little faith"
is probably the best
rebuke I should get!
Their genre was broad
Not limiting to jazz N blues
and well,
Whatever misgivings
one might have, if any....
It must be remembered that
neither of them are 20 yet!
So take that in your pipe and
Smoke it!
Go girl! GO!!!!!
