| 101% |
Been a long long LOONNGG time since i blogged, or even visited my own blog for that matter.
Should have more time on my hand but much less discipline.
Anyway, something the dean said on our last day when we were at her place. giving 101%.
We were on the subject that some people are not as easy to get along with, 'trouble' she called it. To be able to bring out the best of that person nonetheless, and not let character differences affect the extension of the kingdom of God, she uses the 101% principle.
That is to say, find the 1% in a person that you can identify with, and give your 100% support. I find that very positive, and very humbling, considering she admitted that she saw me as one of the 'trouble' students. oops... so being gregarious is not every one's cup of tea.
however, i will definitely adopt this 101% principle, so that the best of whom-so-ever i shall have the privilege of working with, will be drawn out, to God's greatest glory. In the process, i believe God will be able to use these people to mould me, as iron sharpens iron.... again, to God's greatest glory - it's a "win, win, WIN" situation!!
guess it's similar priniciple as one i use - thumper principle - if u can't say nothing nice, dun say nothing at all. but 101% goes beyond that, so yeah, i'll do that. |
