Parenting? |
I have so many things to say, yet so reluctant to knuckle down to write about it...
Parenting... a big word, trust me. It's a verb, a noun, a lifestyle, a learning process.
The children taught me more than I know. They taught me that they are individuals, Each learning to become adults As they navigate the course of life.
& we are to lead, to guide, to mentor, with a sound biblical base, so that They, in turn, can do the same to generations to come.
As I mentioned in "Get Real", we parents are growing up as well... in our parenting skills, the trials and errors, the gives and takes the negotiations, collaborations, cooperations.
Children are little people growing up each equally loved by God, treasured by Him, accepted by Him... Died for..... by His only Son.
Therefore, our jobs are parents perhaps is to Remember that.
We shouldn't forget that we were children once, and perhaps, should not be afraid of telling that to the children, nor afraid of failing, screwing up for we too, are children, Little people, growing up in the Lord.
