Came across something I wrote Long time ago, and I mean Long time ago... When we had quite a few cats
So here we go, a Eulogy to 2 cute baby kittens.
Quickly They came to this world To our household, To our Family
Quickly They left With no more Pain With no more Struggles
Dimbat and Oliver Gave us many happy moments Their curious looks Their wide little eyes & clumsy paws Searched the world In all their innocence...
Oliver had a little lump An abcess that we did not see By the time He could no longer walk His mommy rejected him Not wanting to feed him anymore.
So, it only took little Oliver a couple of days & he started to wither... By the time we took him To the vet There was little we could do But to bring him home With the medication that Helped little before He left us for good....
His brother by name of Dimbat, due to his dim look Was always close to him Pushing him to mommy For a try for milk Or a snuggle
But mommy rejected Oliver So Dimbat snuggled up To keep him 'in the litter'
Well.... Dimbat started To fail to thrive & within days Dimbat too Laid his head to rest For one last time....
It broke our hearts to See even animals exhibit Brotherly love... To the point of death....
So goodbye darlings May you both Continue your Hide & Seek In Kitty Heaven..
