My girls really went to town to Help me enjoy ageism It started even before October arrived!
I hung out with an old friend At this really nice jazz place Only when I got there... Me girls were there already! Waiting for me, sharing a great evening with us.
Then on Wednesday, We went to East Coast Park for a picnic Just the 3 of us.... Or so I thought
Out popped one friend After another & many of my girls' ex school mates To whom I'm known as Mama Annx...
So to cap it all, For the actual day, We went to a restaurant That served Russian food At Serangoon Gardens
I didn't say it was a Russian Restaurant As the cook and everyone else there Were as Russian as the PM of Singapore... But food was good and Price was reasonable
Except that every so often I had to turn round to check That no surprises Were coming out of the woodwork Not that I minded honestly.... I loved them all, Totally enjoyed their company
Just wanted to know if it was Really gonna be just the 3 of us.
It was really nice, The company and the Intimacy of it all...
